The simplest approach to finding GOD

 

Jeremiah 29:13

13 And ye shall seek me, 

and find me, 

when ye shall search for me 

with all your heart.

Perhaps, there was something I was doing right, no matter my many errors.

I just kept searching for GOD's TRUTH.

I could not accept any man's truth.

I needed to hear from GOD HIMSELF.

No matter how long it took.

And boy, did it take long.

Many born-again Christians tried to convert me in the past.

I noticed they'd "pounce" on me, when I was at my lowest.

That didn't work.

I stayed away from them.

God knew what approach worked best with His tiny creation.

He just let her.

That worked.

Pretty much how she'd "teach" others.

She just let them.

She didn't like the idea of putting ideas in their head, and confusing them.

She just liked the facts.

So she waited for God to show up.

He showed up, on a day she finally surrendered ALL knowledge to Him.

After truckloads of books, something remained elusive.

So God took mercy on her, and finally let His HOLY SPIRIT take the reins, and teach her.

From 6 September 2019 to now, the journey has been totally unlike any other spiritual journey she had taken.

On the same day, she was guided to start reading the BIBLE.

That opened the floodgates for God's Spirit to come through, teaching her about JESUS.

For what is life except to know about JESUS?

Only He knew how to live life that would please the FATHER.

PERFECT obedience.

JESUS showed us that.

He set the pattern.

We're all stumbling, and fumbling, on earth.

Many of us fell.

But through the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD, teaching me ALL about JESUS, the lessons were priceless, and magnificent!

Now, all that matters is JESUS, and what He wanted done.

His enemy, the world, had receded in the background.

Now, I live in another world where CHRIST is.

I take instructions from the LORD only.

I didn't even need to be "converted".

When the Holy Spirit of God touches your heart, you drop all that is not of GOD.

It just became simple, and automatic.

Only the SPIRIT of GOD can do that.

Most of all, become like a child, knowing nothing, and yet wanting to know EVERYTHING.

That's my simple approach to finding God.

Matthew 18:4 (KJV)

4 Whosoever therefore 

shall humble himself as this little child, 

the same is greatest 

in the kingdom of heaven.

If nothing works for you, you really must approach God simply, offering Him your heart, and trusting Him with your soul.

Let Him take the reins.

Watch.

Wait.

Listen.

Be thankful.

Spiritual road maps to the LORD

 

John 14:6

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

My friend defined it best.

He said, I was making "spiritual road maps" for people who need the LORD.

I just realized, after 39 blogs and 24 books, that's what I'd been doing all along.

Now, that phrase stuck in my head.

Spiritual road maps.

And I ask myself, shouldn't there be only ONE road map?

Why do I have 39 road maps?

Oh, because there are 7.8 billion people on earth.

So many different personalities.

Only the HOLY SPIRIT of GOD would know how to touch them all.

There are many ways to the LORD.

But only ONE Lord.

In my case, as a baby Christian, He coached me to just keep studying the verses, continue writing, and sharing -- creating the blogs as we go along.

He had a spiritual road map for me, too, so I can create spiritual road maps for others.

That was the whole objective for my existence.

It just came naturally, too.

For I liked studying many things.

I've had many jobs.

The Holy Spirit was merely tapping into my life's material.

I'd been so busy listening, studying, and writing -- guided by the Holy Spirit of God each moment.

And I look back now at all our creations.

Not that it's going to stop.

I follow SPIRIT.

Every step of the way.

We're here for YOU.

Surrender to GOD now

 

James 4:7 

King James Version

7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. 

Resist the devil, 

and he will flee from you.

Yes, that's the way to do it.

Surrender to God now.

Only in the LORD do we stand a chance in this world.

Only through JESUS can we be saved.

Only through the HOLY SPIRIT can we be taught everything about Jesus.

Those are the deep things I learned in 29 months of deep study, creating 39 blogs and 24 books.

It's no boast.

It's constant, consistent, daily, moment-by-moment work, serving the LORD.

And I LOVE every moment.

Only because I love GOD.

I am grateful.

And because GOD tasked me to write, and tell you.

In truth, it's quite easy, because I have the LORD in my heart.

Of course, the Holy Spirit is the head of all that work.

I am merely following "prompts" each day.

And now, my soul rests easy in the LORD, my tiny paw firmly clasped in the LORD JESUS' powerful hand, making sure I don't stray.

That's why I can relax, even as I'm alert for any false christs, antichrists, and false prophets -- those who don't love JESUS.

Those, we scratch.

We do have retractable claws, mind you.

What does it mean to surrender to God?

Well, what does it mean to "surrender"?

You give up your freedom to think for yourself.

You give God full access to your heart.

You follow His commandments.

You listen to every word, every whisper, every command.

You wait.

You watch.

You pray.

You listen.

Every fiber of your being is GOD's.

And when you surrender to the LORD, you will feel His love, guidance, peace, delight, and protection.

You will be armed for the battle (the word "babble" came out, but it's valid, too) against the many antichrists, and false prophets, populating your garden now.

Oh, but tiny as you may be, your lightness of being, your speed, your alertness, your faith, your sharp vision, and yes, those retractable claws, come in handy for would-be assassins, and ambushes.

And yes, we felines are POWERED by the WORD of GOD, by FAITH, and by LOVE for the LORD.

Who can beat a tiny defender of the Faith?

Would-be assassins scram.

JESUS will direct our paths

 

Proverbs 3:5-6 

King James Version

5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;

 and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, 

and he shall direct thy paths.

If you know what JESUS has done, and can do, you will relax.

If you know how much He loves us, you will be completely at ease.

Your present, and future, are safe in and with Him.

You will trust the LORD  with everything.

You will read His GOSPEL, just as it is.

You will not trust in your own fallible judgment.

Proverbs 3:7

7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: 

fear the Lord, 

and depart from evil.

That's how to relax in the LORD.

He will pray to the FATHER, to send us the HOLY SPIRIT,.

That SPIRIT may guide us in EVERYTHING.

You know that saying, "Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the food"?

Well, too many false christs, and antichrists, will confuse us.

We must focus on JESUS alone.

We are like kittens, knowing nothing, but needing everything.

We need the guidance of someone who's "been there, done that".

Of course, that can only be the LORD JESUS, who suffered, died, was buried, and rose on the third day for us.

He was sent to "save the lost".

Luke 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come 

to seek and to save that 

which was lost.

I was lost once.

But never again.

My heart led me back to the LORD.

At the precise moment -- 29 months ago -- and 39 blogs later.

God knows when your heart is ready.

You can be sure about that.

Therein lay my peace.

On that deep knowledge God has of me.

I can really feel His love.

I can really feel His blessings.

ESPECIALLY when He made me born again.

And it is the same, for each one of us, who care to know the FATHER, through JESUS.

And want to believe in something real.

Can you handle the unseen?

 

2 Corinthians 4:18 

King James Version

18 While we look not at the things which are seen, 

but at the things which are not seen: 

for the things which are seen are temporal; 

but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Cats are favorite among witches.

I'm not a witch, but I do appreciate cats.

You may have noticed this blog peppered with their expressive faces, and funny mien.

I won't go into why they're favored by the dark side.

I prefer talking about how we can be as sensitive, and alert, as they are -- especially to the "unseen".

Light as a feather, trusting, sometimes not trusting.

Fast learners.

Playful creatures.

Sensitive to the "unseen".

Animals usually are.

Who, or what, do you think are "unseen"?

John 4:24 (KJV)

24 God is a Spirit: 

and they that worship him 

must worship him in spirit 

and in truth.

In the beginning of the Bible, during creation, God is clearly defined here, too:

Genesis 1:2 (KJV)

2 And the earth was without form, 

and void; 

and darkness was upon the face of the deep. 

And the Spirit of God moved upon 

the face of the waters.

Are we then surprised, that the LORD JESUS asks us to be born, of "water, and of the Spirit"?

John 3:5-6 (KJV)

5 Jesus answered, 

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, 

Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, 

he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh;

 and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

It would be a shame, if a cat could detect the SPIRIT of GOD, more than we can.

We must become born again, so we can understand things of the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 2:14 (KJV)

14 But the natural man receiveth not 

the things of the Spirit of God: 

for they are foolishness unto him: 

neither can he know them, 

because they are spiritually discerned.

Spirit will work with who you are, what you are, what you have in your heart.

He did create you, after all.

Why do you struggle so hard against it?

Be not afraid.

Fear the wrath of God, but do LOVE Him.

Never be a scaredy cat with God.

He has GREAT love for us, sending His SON, to give us eternal life.

John 3:16 (KJV)

16 For God so loved the world, 

that he gave his only begotten Son, 

that whosoever believeth in him 

should not perish, 

but have everlasting life.

To meet the LORD in the air

 

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 

King James Version

16 For the Lord himself 

shall descend from heaven with a shout, 

with the voice of the archangel, 

and with the trump of God: 

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

17 Then we which are alive and remain 

shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, 

to meet the Lord in the air: 

and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Wherefore comfort one another 

with these words.

Did you catch that?

Here are the simple points to that promise:

1. "the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,"

2. "the dead in Christ shall rise first:"

3. "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds,"

4. "to meet the Lord in the air:"

5. "and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Now you see why I share verses the way I do.

The Holy Spirit of God taught me how.

Only by taking Scripture, a word, or a phrase, at a time, can we really understand what is being said.

I did write about problematic prepositions from yesterday's post:

"The way the HOLY SPIRIT taught me to share BIBLE verses with you"

It seems, everything I was trained to do (precision in architecture and communications), everything I liked to do in the past (write, think, study, review, pray for discernment) has been put to good use by the LORD.

Before I became born again, I had no idea how to put all the gifts together.

It was only when I surrendered on 6 September 2019, that the floodgates of God's GRACE poured forth -- beyond measure -- assisting me, teaching me, guiding me, and protecting me, each and every single day, for the past 15 months.

But that only happened because I surrendered to God, completely, and looked upon Him as a kid, knowing nothing.

I was entirely teachable, for I had the heart of a five-year-old.

And I was patient, and persevering; quiet, and independent.

I liked figuring things out for myself.

More fun that way.

Finally, I can be the soul sleuth that I was, listening to the "prompts", following the "leads", checking the "clues", letting the Holy Spirit "guide" me, letting Scripture "speak", and coming to a "conclusion", based on all the "facts" I had.

What could be more factual than the WORD of GOD -- Scripture -- JESUS?

When you've come to this point, where you finally begin to understand, and marvel at the wondrous WORD of GOD, the Bible speaking to you, the LORD instructing you, answering your prayers even before you're done praying, and finally being able to piece things together, word by word, phrase by phrase, verse by verse, you can only smile, and wait for JESUS to take you up and "meet" Him "in the air".

For, after that, the world that's left behind will be so much different.

That's also why it's important I tell you all these things now, so your soul can rest easy, too, knowing GOD has ALWAYS been in charge.

All attempts at unseating the LORD JESUS, are futile.

The Bible says so.

Nothing to prove to the world

 1 John 5:19

19 And we know that we are of God, 

and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

That's what makes me relaxed.

What apostle John said.

Why fight the world?

Focus on JESUS instead.

He has already overcome the world.

It's just a matter of time, and the LORD will have His faithful taken up to Him.

Those who remain rebellious will have to be judged for their deeds.

Only Jesus can do that.

At a day, or hour, God chooses.

You see, when you start reading the Bible, TRUTH comes out.

While in the world, all sorts of lie go circulating about.

The devil has many devices.

Only JESUS has the truth.

He is the WORD of GOD.

And the Word of God is TRUE.

That's why I am relaxed.

That's why I haven't sold my soul to the world, and thus, the devil.

He is the prince of the world, after all.

Beware if you are addicted to the things of the world.

You must only focus on "things above".

Colossians 3:2 (KJV)

2 Set your affection on things above, 

not on things on the earth.

What is that, but JESUS.

He is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

John 14:6 (KJV)

6 Jesus saith unto him,

I have nothing to prove to the world.

I am not useful to it, for I already made a stand.

I remain with God.

That's why the world made it especially difficult for me.

It tested my soul too many times.

Had lots of hits, and misses.

God knows my heart.

He knew I belonged to Him, no matter what.

I have nothing to prove to the world, for it seeks to destroy God's faithful.

If you are on the fringes of society, that says much.

Hang in there, endure, keep praying, keep waiting, keep watching, remain steadfast, remain faithful, keep reading the BIBLE, learn EVERYTHING of GOD.

For we may be taken up at any time.

JESUS did say:

Matthew 24:40 (KJV)

40 Then shall two be in the field; 

the one shall be taken, 

and the other left.

Since I first came across that verse on 14 January 2020, I knew the fight was finished.

Nothing mattered anymore, except that we right our hearts with God.

That we become born again, in water, and of the Spirit.

That we believe in Jesus.

That we ask for His forgiveness.

That we remain faithful to Him.

That we watch, because any one of us could be taken up, at ANY time, at ANY moment.

That we love GOD alone, and worship no one else but HIM.

That we become "spotless, and "blameless", before the Lord.

PURRfect, as the LORD is PERFECT.

Those are the things that concern me, not what the world thinks of me.

In God, I wait.

At ease with self

 

Psalm 1:2

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; 

and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Do you like cats?

If so, you'll like this blog.

Connecting CHRIST and cats.

Cats are such graceful creatures.

Private to the bone.

And inherently funny.

A subject of much fun, and joy.

Their built-in craziness comes naturally.

Only because we're relaxed with self.

Nothing to prove to the world.

Unconcerned about being measured by the world's standards.

For the world will surely measure me below par.

Not that it matters.

GOD is all that matters.

The world has made everything so complex.

But I like keeping things simple.

Even childlike.

As I keep saying, I walk, skip, and hop -- alongside JESUS -- holding tight to His hand.

And He allows me to do all that, amused at this overgrown kid who wants to know EVERYTHING about Him.

When your heart's that way, you lose all fear.

Your heart is laid bare before God.

It is only with God you can really relax anyway.

Yes, He wants you to fear Him, for we humans are stubborn and foolhardy.

At least cats learn fast.

That's why I like them.

They're cute, funny, and crazy.

So, it is with the persona of a cat, a simple, gentle, and private cat, that I will share with you what I learned from the Bible.

Alternately, I'm a five-year-old kid who trusts God completely.

I'm at ease with self.

I'm at ease with GOD.

My heart is PURR-fect with God.

I am a contented cat with God.

He has been mighty good, kind, sweet, loving, and merciful -- saving me from many mishaps.

And I trust Him with ALL my heart.

There's much SPIRIT and I wish to tell you in the next posts, so just keep reading, and learning.
